The Mirak S2 model for Siemens Magnetom Espree and Excite 1.5T MRI machines provides a clean and flat surface for accurate patient positioning and indexation to enable optimum repeatability between imaging and treatment. Image fusion with CT images can be undertaken very quickly as table curvature is eliminated.
The overlay is placed directly on the rail surface after removing cushions from around the main coil, optimising bore space. The board is accurately located and locked with oblong sliding pins in each corner.
The width is slightly larger than the normal patient area but leaves the t-rails accessible for accessories.
